The Challenge

Compliance Meds Technologies (CMT) had developed a breakthrough in medication adherence: two smart cap devices designed to help patients take the right dose at the right time, while giving providers real-time visibility into usage. But the innovation needed a brand system that matched its potential. The original name lacked clarity and warmth, and the product needed stronger positioning to resonate with both healthcare professionals and everyday users—especially in markets where trust, access, and ease of use are non-negotiable.

The goal was ambitious: reimagine the entire brand and user experience from the ground up, while keeping the product intuitive, accessible, and ready to scale across global markets, including low- and middle-income countries.

Our Approach

OGK® led a full-scale transformation—starting with renaming the company and product line to CleverCap™, a name that reflected both the intelligence of the technology and its human-centered simplicity. From there, we created a brand identity that was modern, medical, and approachable, paired with packaging that conveyed precision without intimidation.

We worked closely with the client team to concept and design the physical product experience, mapping out how CleverCap™ could affix to standard medication bottles without disrupting pharmacy workflows. We built marketing materials that translated the device’s technical innovation into emotional storytelling—highlighting real impact for both patients and providers. On the digital side, OGK® designed the complete UI/UX system for both the companion mobile app and the provider dashboard, focusing on clarity, speed, and compliance cues.

The Outcome

CleverCap™ launched as a fully formed, highly differentiated brand in the med-tech space. The product’s visual language, packaging, and messaging now align with its technical sophistication. Its ability to track adherence, send smart reminders, and seamlessly relay data via cellular or Bluetooth positioned it as a market-ready solution for large-scale health systems and clinical trials. Our content system gave the brand a scalable foundation for internal onboarding, patient education, and marketing campaigns across diverse audiences.

The rebrand didn’t just elevate perception—it helped unlock new opportunities for deployment in the TB and chronic illness markets globally, including LMICs where ease of use, low provider burden, and flexible connectivity are mission-critical.
