Video Project Manager

We are looking for a bright, personable, and highly organized Studios Project Manager to join our team. Are you comfortable interacting closely with clients and creatives? Are you able to juggle multiple projects, tasks and subtasks at once? Are you a genuinely nice person, yet not too nice when deadlines have to be met? Do you have a sense of humor? If you thought “hey, that sounds like me,” then we need you! Here’s a little bit of what you can expect, if you were to accept this position:

  • Oversee management of all video, photo and animation projects
  • Understand the full needs of a project and bring together the people and details that are necessary to completely the project in a timely manner
  • Make sure team members track time for the right projects
  • Manage all projects in Wrike (management software)
  • Task up team members for projects and tasks
  • Create production timelines for video, photo, and animation projects, and make sure all projects stay on track
  • Be the point of contact between OGK Studios and clients
  • Traffic rough and final deliverables to clients
  • Report to and work with the Producer on day-to-day operations of the video department
  • Manage and oversee video, photo, and animation pre-production planning and on-site production activities for video clients
  • Deliver high quality product on time and within budget
  • Anticipate and respond to needs and requests from clients
  • Manage staff time using Wrike
  • Ensure all projects are on schedule
  • Identify best practices for video project management and evolve daily operations as necessary
That sounds great and all, but what do you need to be successful in this position?
  • A minimum of 2 years of relevant experience and/or equivalent combination of education and experience (must include experience in a video production environment)
  • Familiarity with organizational/task management software
  • Knowledge of producing videos
  • Ability to understand video/photo/animation workflow and set and arrange goals
  • Excellent organization, planning, and communication skills
  • A collaborative mindset and ability to work with varying and changing needs
  • Ability to work independently
  • Ability to manage numerous projects simultaneously and meet deadlines
