Senior Graphic Designer
Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly creative and experienced Senior Graphic Designer who is passionate about visual storytelling and has a keen eye for detail. The ideal candidate will have a strong portfolio that demonstrates versatility across a range of design disciplines, including branding, digital, print, and motion graphics. This role requires someone who can think strategically, collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, and lead design projects from concept to completion.
This role requires the applicant to work onsite, so candidates must be able to commute or relocate to the office location.
Possible Roles and Responsibilities
- Develop and execute high-quality design concepts, graphics, and layouts for a variety of mediums, including print, digital, social media, and motion graphics.
- Lead the design process from concept to completion, ensuring all work aligns with brand guidelines and project objectives.
- Collaborate closely with the creative team, including copywriters, strategists, and other designers, to produce cohesive and impactful visual content.
- Provide creative direction and mentorship to junior designers, fostering a collaborative and inspiring work environment.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, tools, and technologies to continually improve design practices and processes.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously, meeting deadlines and maintaining a high standard of work quality.
- Present and articulate design concepts to internal teams and clients, incorporating feedback to refine and improve out
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Visual Arts, or a related field.
- 5+ years of professional experience in graphic design, preferably in an agency or in-house creative team setting.
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, After Effects) and other relevant design tools.
- Strong portfolio showcasing a diverse range of design work, including branding, digital, print, and motion graphics.
- Excellent understanding of typography, color theory, composition, and layout.
- Ability to think creatively and strategically, with strong problem-solving skills
- Outstanding communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate design decisions and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Experience leading and mentoring junior designers is a plus.
